About VO2 Max Testing

VO2 max measures the maximum rate of oxygen consumption during exercise — the gold standard for cardiorespiratory fitness. I estimate mine using the 1.5-mile run test (Cooper test variant).

Formula:

VO2 max = 3.5 + 483 / time_in_minutes
