Pokemon Strategy 2

So a couple of things. Pokemon Red (Generation 1) up through I think Generation 3 have a problem with physical versus special. Certain types, like Ghost, all moves are considered Physical (and therefore depend on the ATK stat, not the SPEC or SPECATK stat). Another thing is that you CAN just beat the game with one pokemon, right now we're beating the game with Gengar in Pokemon Silver (we gave it a lot of Fighting type moves that will utilize his high special attack). Also it's important to keep in mind where you can find wild type pokemon of high level. So Mewtwo in Pokemon Red is level 70, but Lugia in Pokemon Silver is level 40 (maybe Ho-Oh will be level 70 after we beat the final boss). Also keep in mind Rare Candy should be saved for the later parts.
